Dragon scales in solid brass
The Shika Drakon shisha pipe is engraved like the scales of the beast it is named for. The pattern runs up the 48 cm stem, broken by shield shaped panels and circling medallions. It is 2 kg of brass on a wide foot with a tapered neck, sold as a full set on the Cairo Bell base.
Why this one
- Scale engraving The pattern runs like scales from the wide foot to the tapered neck, with shield panels and medallions cut in between.
- Wide foot, tapered neck Wide where the stem meets the base, narrow where the bowl sits.
- Two boxes, so brass never touches glass The glass base and the bowl travel in one box. The engraved stem and its accessories travel in the other. We pack every Khalil Mamoon the same way. Nothing rubs in transit.
- Handmade in Egypt The stem is engraved by hand and the base is made by hand. No two are the same.
Handmade: what to expect
Every Shika is made by hand in Egypt. Expect small differences from the photos:
- Fine scratches, marks and tool lines in the brass
- Small lines, bubbles or tiny chips in the glass base and the clay bowl
- The engraving and the tone of the brass vary piece to piece
- Hose colours vary. Yours may not be the colour in the photos
These come from the handmade process. They are not faults and do not affect how it works.

Questions
What comes with the Shika Drakon?
The full set: the brass stem, the tray, the Cairo Bell base, a Sinai Tradi washable hose, an Oblivion clay bowl, the grommets and a base protector. Charcoal and a heat management device are sold separately.
How tall is the Shika Drakon?
The brass stem alone is 48 cm. The glass base under it and the bowl on top make the full shisha taller than that.
Is the Shika Drakon heavier than a Khalil Mamoon?
Yes. Shika builds heavier than Khalil Mamoon, in the supplier's own words, and the Drakon stem alone weighs 2.0 kg before the tray and the base.
Which base does it use, and can I change it?
It comes on the Cairo Bell, the heavy Egyptian bell base. The Cairo Bell is the spare. The Nile clear tear drop and the Genie coloured base are the upgrades, both sold separately.
Drakon or Skyrim?
Both carry dragon motifs. The Drakon is 48 cm and 2 kg, engraved like scales. The Skyrim is 36 cm and 1.6 kg with Nordic runes.
How is it packed?
In two boxes. The glass base and the bowl in one, the stem and accessories in the other, so nothing rubs in transit.
