About Alpha Hookah

Alpha Hookah is a Russian modern-pipe brand based in St. Petersburg. The company started as Anton Hookah in 2015, originally making only mouthpieces, before rebranding and turning to full pipes a year later.

The brand made its name with Model X in 2018. Instead of venting through a traditional side valve, Model X introduced a vertical purge system that releases smoke upward through slots in the shaft overlay — a design other Russian makers have since copied. Pipes are built from AISI 304 stainless steel with magnetic hose connectors and removable diffusers.

The TPW range includes the flagship Model X — in Snow White plus Pavel Almazov's Artist Edition in Bronze and Red Matte — alongside the Alpha Beat, a compact travel version released in 2020 that delivers full-session performance from a shorter shaft.

Alpha pipes arrive without a base, as is standard for Russian modern pipes. TPW includes a compatible base so you can session straight out of the box. A bowl is not included; modern pipes are always sold stem-only.

The Alpha Beat is a compact shaft released in 2020, roughly 32cm tall, built for travel and smaller setups. Both use the same materials, same purge system, and deliver the same session quality — just in different formats.
Why is Alpha Hookah more expensive than entry-level pipes?
Materials and engineering. Alpha uses AISI 304 stainless steel throughout the immersed shaft, plus magnetic hose connectors, precision-machined diffusers, and tight tolerances. Entry pipes typically use lighter stainless or mixed materials with loose fits. You're paying for serviceable, disassemblable construction that holds up to years of use.
How do I know I'm getting a genuine Alpha Hookah?
Counterfeits are a real problem with Russian pipes, with most fakes coming out of China. TPW imports Alpha direct through authorised supply — every pipe arrives in original packaging with holographic authenticity stickers intact. If a price looks too good elsewhere, or the packaging doesn't match what Alpha ships, it's likely not real.
