Is a mouthpiece handle different from a mouthtip?

Yes. The handle is the large grip piece that attaches directly to the end of your hose — the part you hold. A mouthtip is the small piece that sits on top of the handle and touches your lips. The handle stays on your hose; the mouthtip is the hygienic barrier you (or your guests) change out.

Do I still need a mouthtip if I have a personal handle?

Yes, particularly in a group. The mouthtip is the hygienic layer between the handle and your lips. Solo sessions at home, many enthusiasts skip it and clean the handle after each use. In a shared session or a lounge, a fresh mouthtip per person is standard practice.

Will any mouthpiece handle fit my hose?
