The tallest Shika, in brass and wood
The Shika Avatar shisha pipe has the tallest stem in the range, 60 cm and 2.15 kg. Hand engraved brass and hand carved wood mirror each other section by section. It comes as a full set on the Cairo Bell base.
Why this one
- Brass and wood, one line The engraving in the brass and the carving in the wood follow each other up the stem.
- Sixty centimetres of stem The tallest stem Shika makes, at 2.15 kg before the tray and the base.
- Two boxes, so brass never touches glass The glass base and the bowl travel in one box. The engraved stem and its accessories travel in the other. We pack every Khalil Mamoon the same way. Nothing rubs in transit.
- Handmade in Egypt The brass is engraved by hand and the wood is carved by hand. No two are the same.
Handmade: what to expect
Every Shika is made by hand in Egypt. Expect small differences from the photos:
- Fine scratches, marks and tool lines in the brass
- Small lines, bubbles or tiny chips in the glass base and the clay bowl
- The engraving, the wood grain and the tone of the brass vary piece to piece
- Hose colours vary. Yours may not be the colour in the photos
These come from the handmade process. They are not faults and do not affect how it works.

Questions
What comes with the Shika Avatar?
The full set: the brass stem, the tray, the Cairo Bell base, a Sinai Tradi washable hose, an Oblivion clay bowl, the grommets and a base protector. Charcoal and a heat management device are sold separately.
How tall is the Shika Avatar?
The brass stem alone is 60 cm. The glass base under it and the bowl on top make the full shisha taller than that.
Is the Shika Avatar heavier than a Khalil Mamoon?
Yes. Shika builds heavier than Khalil Mamoon, in the supplier's own words, and the Avatar stem alone weighs 2.15 kg before the tray and the base.
Which base does it use, and can I change it?
It comes on the Cairo Bell, the heavy Egyptian bell base. The Cairo Bell is the spare. The Nile clear tear drop and the Genie coloured base are the upgrades, both sold separately.
Avatar or Amazonia?
Both mix carved wood with engraved brass. The Avatar is the tallest Shika at 60 cm. The Amazonia is the compact one at 34 cm.
How is it packed?
In two boxes. The glass base and the bowl in one, the stem and accessories in the other, so nothing rubs in transit.
