Care & Maintenance

Looking after your device is the best way to keep it working well. XKAH does not cover damage caused by improper use, misuse, or not cleaning and maintaining the device properly.

• Device body & heating blade: clean gently with cotton swabs (Q-tips) and isopropyl alcohol or water. Do not rinse the device body under water.
• Base: can be rinsed under water. Dry it completely before you put it back together.
• Battery: must never touch water. Wipe it with a dry cloth if needed.
• Packing & bowl: use the correct packing method and amount, and make sure the bowl sits in the correct orientation.
• Make sure every part is fully dry before you use the device again.
• Clean residue with swabs as above. Don't try to burn it off by running the heater.
• When you're not using it, remove the battery and store it separately from the device.
• Always use the device as described in XKAH's official instructions. XKAH's support videos are on its warranty page.

Warranty

• Manufacturer warranty claims are lodged directly with XKAH through the official XKAH warranty claim form.
• Keep your tax invoice. XKAH needs a valid, dated proof of purchase.
• Write down your batch number, which is on the hinge after you remove the base (e.g. AYSXX).
• The form also asks for a short video showing the issue and a description of what happened.
• Don't post your device anywhere until XKAH gives you return authorisation and instructions.

Does it work with any hookah?

It fits most hookahs. The two grommet sizes (S and L) give an airtight fit across a wide range of stems. Place it where your bowl normally sits.

How do I clean it?

Clean the device body and heating blade with cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol or water. Never rinse them. The base can be rinsed, and the battery must stay dry. Let everything dry fully before your next session.

Can I burn off residue by running it empty?

No. Clean residue with swabs as described above. Running the heater without a correctly packed bowl isn't part of XKAH's instructions, and damage from misuse isn't covered by the manufacturer warranty.

What if something goes wrong?
