XKAH is a travel-friendly alternative when coal isn’t practical. Everyone’s setup and draw style is different, so give it a few sessions to find your sweet spot. Start here, then adjust in small 5–10°C steps.

Works best after dialing in
Dark leaf (starter settings)
- Pack: up to 10g max.
- Prep: shake the metal bowl so it has clear gaps and air pockets, then pack.
- Start: 305°C.
- After ~8 minutes: drop to 270°C before your first pulls.
Blonde leaf (starter settings)
- Pack: 9–10g, light and fluffy (avoid compressing).
- Start: 285°C.
- After ~5–6 minutes: drop to 265°C.
- Cruise: 250–255°C for smoother flavour.
Important
Ambient temperature, pack density, flavour type, and draw speed all affect performance. This is a new-style workflow, so it can take a few sessions to dial in. Make changes in small steps and you’ll find your sweet spot fast.
Too harsh?
Step down 5–10°C and loosen the top layer.
Too light?
Pre-heat a little longer or step up 5°C.
