Reduces rim burn and promotes controlled airflow straight out of the box. Spacing between holes means you can always add more for increased airflow or wider bowls.

How to Use It

• Pull a single sheet from the dispenser box.
• Centre the sheet over your packed bowl and stretch it firmly across the rim, pulling evenly on all sides until the surface is taut.
• For Plain variants, poke your preferred hole pattern using a foil poker or toothpick. Adjust hole density and spacing to suit your bowl size and pack style.
• For the Pre-Poked variant, the sheet is ready to go — simply stretch and place. Add extra holes if you need more airflow for wider bowls.
• Place your heat management device or coals on top and begin your session.

Which variant should I choose?

It comes down to how you manage your heat. If you prefer a hotter session with more heat reaching the tobacco directly, the Lounge 38 µm delivers that through a thinner gauge — without needing extra coals. If you want maximum heat stability and an even, controlled burn, the Thicc 42 µm Plain gives you the thickest foil in the range with full control over your hole pattern. Is one sheet actually enough, or do I still need to double up?

One sheet is enough. At 42 microns, the Thicc variants are 3–4 times thicker than standard household foil. The Lounge at 38 microns is still more than double household thickness. Both are engineered to handle direct coal heat without burning through. Double layering is unnecessary and will actually restrict heat transfer.

Does the pre-poked pattern work with all bowls?

The hole pattern is designed for the smaller phunnel and Turkish-style bowls commonly used in Australia. For wider bowls, you can add extra holes around the edges to increase airflow coverage. The spacing between the existing holes leaves room to customise without weakening the sheet.
