Fit & Compatibility

The stepped ring-stacked stem seats in any standard bowl grommet. Rim accepts universal HMDs including Kaloud Lotus variants, as well as foil-and-coal setups.

How to Use It

Loose-pack around the spire — aim for around 20 grams. Foil or HMD on top. Two to three lit coconut coals, three to five minutes of warm-up, slow draw.

What does the ribbed stem actually do?

Visually, it gives the Knight its character. Functionally, it's the same fit as any other phunnel stem — it seats in a standard grommet. The ribs are aesthetic, not structural.

Do the colourways have different performance characteristics?

No — same mould, same capacity, same heat behaviour. Choose purely on aesthetic preference.

Is the raw ceramic section on the stem safe to handle?

Yes. The raw section is fired ceramic, just unglazed. It will look matte rather than glossy but it's structurally identical to the glazed portions.
