Where are Steamulation pipes made?

Entirely in Germany. The company is based there, engineers its own designs in-house, and machines every metal part on 5-axis mills at its own facility. The glass bases are also German-made. There's no outsourced manufacturing — which is part of why the pipes cost what they do.

What is the SteamClick 360° system?

It's Steamulation's patented click-lock that connects the base to the stem. No screws, no rubber seal — you push and it clicks. It also rotates 360 degrees, so the hose port can swing to wherever you're sitting without moving the whole pipe. Opens and closes in a fraction of a second.

Why are Steamulation pipes so expensive?

Precision. Every part is machined in-house in Germany on turn-mill centres that produce aerospace-level tolerances, then polished by hand. You're also paying for the modular engineering — adapters, diffusers, and molasses catchers swap between models and generations. Longevity is the other side: a well-cared-for Steamulation lasts decades.

Can I use any bowl and hose with my Steamulation?

Most bowls seat on the Steamulation stem with the standard heat-resistant gasket. For hoses, you'll need a hose adapter — Steamulation uses its own connection format, and the Gen II adapter works across current models. Kaloud Lotus HMDs work fine with most phunnel bowls on a Steamulation.

What's the difference between the Ultimate, Ultimate One, and Mini?

Ultimate Gen II is the flagship — multi-port for group sessions, full modular feature set, adjustable airflow and cooling. Ultimate One is the same engineering in a single-port form. Mini Gen 2 is the compact tabletop model, same build quality at smaller scale. All three share SteamClick 360° and the same accessory compatibility.

How do I know my Steamulation is genuine?

Every Steamulation stocked here is sourced direct through authorised channels — no grey-market imports. Genuine units come with serial numbers on the stem and official packaging. Counterfeits tend to miss the fine polish on edges, skip the correct stainless steel grade, and often fail the SteamClick mechanism within weeks.
