About Blade

Blade is a Russian hookah brand founded in Spring 2017. They make modern stainless steel pipes and a broader range of accessories, but internationally the brand is best known for the molasses catcher.

A molasses catcher sits between the pipe's stem and the base. It intercepts the flavoured juices that drip out of the bowl during a session before they can reach the water. Without one, that juice ghosts the next session and turns the base darker and stickier than it needs to be. With one, you can swap flavours session to session without emptying the pipe.

Blade's catchers have wide internal purge holes to keep the draw uninhibited, a larger collection bowl that goes longer between cleans, and a universal 18.8 ground-joint fitting that seats on most modern pipes. They're stainless steel, so they don't stain or corrode over time, and they come in anodised colours to match different pipe styles.
