The Essentials Leaf Screen is a practical bridge between raw foil sessions and a full enclosed HMD. Sitting on top of your foil, the stainless steel tray spreads charcoal heat more evenly across the bowl surface, reducing hot spots and extending session length. How to Use It
- Pack your bowl and stretch foil tightly across the top
- Poke holes in the foil as you normally would
- Place the Leaf screen centrally on the foil surface
- Set 2-3 lit natural charcoal cubes on the screen
- Draw as normal - the screen promotes more even heat transfer
- Lift by the silicone handle to check, rotate, or swap charcoal mid-session
Care & Maintenance
- Allow to cool completely before handling
- Soak in warm soapy water to soften baked-on residue
- Scrub with a non-abrasive brush or sponge
- Dry thoroughly before storing
- Do not expose the silicone handle to direct flame

No. The Leaf is a screen that sits on top of foil to distribute heat - it is not an enclosed HMD. It does not replace foil. For a foil-free HMD experience, explore our heat management device collection.
How many coals should I use?
Two to three standard 25-26 mm natural charcoal cubes is the recommended starting point. Adjust based on your bowl size and heat preference.

If no one's available to sign, your parcel waits at your local post office for collection. Please allow extra time around public holidays.
Most items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for store credit, provided they are unused, unopened and in their original packaging. Change-of-mind return shipping is at your cost. Sale items, opened consumables (mouth tips, seals, grommets) and used goods are not eligible.
