What are Bulk Charcoal Packs?

Bulk charcoal packs are large boxes of shisha coal — usually 10kg lounge boxes, sometimes 20kg giant packs. Instead of a 1kg retail bag that holds enough for a handful of sessions, you get a venue-sized supply that lasts months.

The reason to buy bulk is simple: price per cube drops hard. If you session a few times a week, host regularly, or run a small venue, a 10kg box pays for itself quickly. If you session once a fortnight, a 1kg pack is plenty and stays fresher for longer.

Shape and size still matter. Cubes (25–28mm) suit heat management devices. Hex and finger coals spread heat better under foil and heat screens. Bigger cubes burn longer; smaller ones light faster. Bulk is for stocking up what you know works, not for trying something new.

Coconut coal is moisture-sensitive. Once a 10kg box is opened, keep the inner plastic bags sealed and store somewhere cool and dry. A damp cube is a slow-lighting, weak-burning cube. Stored well, a 10kg box stays good for 12+ months.
